Emerald Bay and end of journey

Now sitting in a hotel in Corfu town in order to be able to get to the airport tomorrow morning for the flight back home. Seven weeks of sailing is over, it has been absolutely fantastic! After the stormy night in Emerald Bay where the new anchor really stood the test we passed Preveza and went to Vonitsa, a nice little town in the big inland sea east of Preveza.

From the restaurant next to the qey in Vonitsa we suddenly saw a big turtle showing up his suprisingly big head 15 m out in the sea. We saw it a few times more, but I never managed to get it on picture.

The day after however, when we were taking a swim and lunch break close to an inslet, a dolphin played around for an hour around or boat. Never really close, but still very fascinating since the sea was very calm and we could hear the dolphin breathing.

Next stop was the final destination for this years sailing, Cleopatra Marina in Preveza. After a wet night on town yesterday, the boat was lifted up this morning and we spent a couple of hours cleaning the deck and inside before taking the taxi towards Corfu, where we, Bosse, Staffan and I are right now. Magnus is probably still at Cleopatra Marina since his flight is leaving late this evening from Preveza airport. The boys' saling week are over! And as expected, we had a great time together!
